The Higher Ed wing packages the OPA methodology for institutional adoption. The pedagogy is the same as the K–12 wing — same five-step derivation, same Two Questions ritual. The framing is different. This is for the person who has a faculty appointment, a syllabus deadline, and a dean to convince.

The dean’s pitch — the 30 seconds you have

"Our curriculum is locked months before students arrive. The world keeps producing primary sources that are more relevant than anything in the textbook. I’ve developed a methodology that teaches students to convert current events into course material using a five-step process. It doesn’t replace the existing curriculum. It makes the existing curriculum alive. I’d like fifteen minutes to show you how it works."

The objections, and the responses

• "We can’t change the syllabus mid-semester." The syllabus doesn’t change. The framework builds in a weekly current-event derivation exercise. The structure is predetermined. Only the content is live.
• "Students aren’t qualified to derive curriculum." They’re not writing the curriculum. They’re practicing the analytical skill of converting events into case studies. That’s the learning objective.
• "What about bias?" The methodology requires structural analysis, not opinion. The critical question removes the names and asks what pattern remains.
• "Where’s the research?" The research IS the archive. Every case study filed by students is a data point. One section produces 200+ filings per semester — that’s the dataset for program evaluation.
