White light enters as one beam. Inside the glass, each wavelength bends differently. Violet is slower — it refracts more. Red is faster — less. Same material, different behavior. That difference is the spectrum.

Convex lens bends light by refraction. Driver’s Mirror shows the same shape language at side-mirror scale — brain reads small-as-far, slider lies about distance. Parabolic Mirror does the same focal trick by reflection — one dish, one focal point, the building block for Tab III. The shape is the lesson at every scale.

CONVEX — focuses light to a point. Magnifying glass, telescope eyepiece, camera lens, eyeglasses for farsightedness, the survivalist’s fire-starting trick with notebook paper, kids burning ants on the sidewalk. The headline application is the one you just played.

The parabolic mirror focuses via reflection, not refraction. Same geometry — different mechanism. Archimedes used mirrors. The CSP towers use mirrors. Act III shows you why.

Archimedes' soldiers stood on the shore, each holding a polished shield. One shield is a warm spot. The trick was never more light — it was every shield on the same point of the hull. Find a seam, herd the crew onto it. Together: ignition.

WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING AT

Every pin is a field of mirrors — heliostats — tracking the sun and reflecting beams to a tower receiver.

Same principle as Act III. Archimedes used shields. These plants use computer-tracked glass. The focal geometry is identical.

Steam from the tower drives a turbine. Some plants store heat in molten salt — generating electricity after sunset.

Photon energy E(eV) ≈ 1240 / λ(nm) — Planck–Einstein (hc ≈ 1240 eV·nm). Glass index vs. wavelength follows a Cauchy-style dispersion approximation.
