This bench sits on a seam. It begins in Physical Sciences — the same optics that power The Color Solid, one cone fired alone — and it walks the student to College 00, where the question stops being "how does the light work?" and becomes "what do we owe each other when a capability is real before its safety is?"
Every capability lab in the canon obeys one rule: ground the solid before you build the speculative, and never let the second wear the clothes of the first. Tabs I and II are load-bearing fact. Tab III is a thought experiment that borrows their anchor but files under fiction. The tab boundary is the epistemics — you always know which floor you're standing on.

The lab records its own provenance because that's the method it teaches.
